About the Role

We're looking for a Power BI & Data Platform professional to support and grow into ownership of a multi-year airline reporting programme. This role sits at the centre of the programme, managing the data backbone behind a live, high-visibility reporting suite — including a centralised SharePoint data repository fed by multiple operational source systems, with a clear path towards a future data warehouse.

You'll start by supporting a senior developer on report development and data platform activities, then take ownership of the day-to-day running of the reporting environment — including refresh monitoring, report distribution, data validation, governance, and first-line troubleshooting — as the programme moves into steady-state support.

What You'll Do

● Design and govern a SharePoint-based centralised data repository — including architecture, data model, and data dictionary

● Coordinate data extraction from multiple airline operational source systems, including RPA-based extraction where no native feed exists

● Monitor and maintain scheduled Power BI report refreshes across multiple daily publishing windows

● Set up and maintain automated report distribution (PDF/email) using Power Automate

● Perform first-line data quality checks, validate data issues, and coordinate corrections with source system owners

● Make minor Power BI report enhancements under senior review, including formatting, filters, and small visual updates

● Maintain technical documentation of the data, applications, and interfaces landscape as it evolves

● Support pilot testing and act as the first point of contact for report issues once live

● Plan and support migration of the data repository to a data warehouse in the programme's later phase

● Act as the main technical point of contact with client IT on data platform and reporting matters

What We're Looking For

● 3+ years of experience with Power BI, SharePoint Online administration, or data architecture in a production/BAU environment

● Working knowledge of Power Query and basic DAX

● Experience working with SharePoint Online as a data source

● Experience integrating SharePoint with upstream systems via SMTP/SFTP/API patterns

● Working knowledge of data governance practices — including data dictionaries, validation logs, and single source of truth principles

● Strong stakeholder coordination skills with a detail-oriented and process-driven mindset

Nice to Have

● Exposure to airline, airport, or operations reporting environments

● Data warehouse or data platform migration experience

● Basic familiarity with Power Automate and workflow automation

● Aviation or logistics operations background

Working Hours:

This role requires flexibility to work in shifts to support operational reporting activities, including scheduled report refreshes, monitoring, and issue resolution across multiple publishing windows.

Shift Schedule:

● Shift 1: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

● Shift 2: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

● Alternate weekend support is required to ensure continuous reporting operations and timely issue resolution.
