power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive BI Developer to join our team. This role focuses on

designing and developing interactive BI dashboards and reports, mainly on Power BI and

Databricks AI/BI, as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to

end users. This role also focuses on managing the Power BI Premium and Power BI gateway

as a Power BI admin. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid

understanding of data modeling, and the ability to translate business needs into effective BI

solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Databricks AI/BI reports

Integrate Databricks with Power BI to enable seamless data visualization and

reporting

Create DAX measures and implement Star Schema data models

Manage Power BI Premium Capacity and Power BI Gateways (Power BI admin)

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand data

requirements

Query and manipulate data from databases such as Teradata, Oracle, and Databricks

Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI and Databricks AI/BI

users

Document Business Intelligence solutions and create user guides or training

materials as needed

Stay current with Business Intelligence trends, tools, and best practices

Stay current with the Gen AI/AI application to Business Intelligence

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficient in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX

Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise databases (e.g., Teradata, Oracle,

Databricks)

Experience with Databricks for AI/BI report development, as well as integration of

Databricks with Power BI

Familiarity with Star Schema and data modeling best practices

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills to support and guide end users

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus

Demonstrates flexibility to provide support for urgent issues outside of standard

business hours.

Experience in managing Power BI Premium and Power BI gateway is highly

preferred.

Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.

Databricks certification is a plus.

Interest or experience in AI/ML concepts as applied to business intelligence is a

plus.

Familiarity with Power BI's AI features (such as Q&A, Smart Narrative, Power BI

CoPilot) is an advantage.

Familiarity with Databricks AI/BI Genie is as an advantage.

Familiarity with Manufacturing Semiconductor processes is as an advantage.
