We are looking for a Power & Performance Validation Engineer to join a platform-level engineering team focusing on power optimization and battery life assessment for modern computing platforms.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on testing, automation, and data-driven analysis in a semiconductor or computer systems environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute standardized power and performance assessment tests for computing platforms
- Perform power characterization and validation for power management features
- Set up systems and power measurement equipment for automated test frameworks
- Develop, automate, and maintain test scripts to improve testing efficiency
- Conduct regression testing on power and performance KPIs and analyze results
- Support root-cause analysis for abnormal power or performance behaviors
- Document test methodologies, results, and validation findings
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- 2 years of working experience in the semiconductor, computer systems, or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of CPU architectures (e.g., x86) and system-level software
- Familiarity with semiconductor test and measurement equipment
- Experience with test automation and scripting is a strong plus
- Strong analytical mindset with interest in system validation and optimization
