PPC Manager

[Job Overview]

Responsible for overseeing and managing overall Production Planning & Production Control (PPC) activities to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Efficient material planning, production scheduling, inventory control, and on-time delivery to customers.

Coordinating with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, and other related departments to achieve operational targets and customer satisfaction.

[Job Responsibility ]

Manage overall Production Planning & Production Control (PPC) operations.

Develop and monitor production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity.

Ensure material availability and proper inventory control to support production activities.

Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, QA, and Sales departments for smooth operational flow.

Monitor production progress and delivery schedules to ensure on-time shipment to customers.

Analyse production capacity, manpower, and material requirements to optimize productivity.

Control and minimize production delays, shortages, and excess inventory.

Prepare production planning reports, inventory reports, and delivery performance analysis.

Lead and supervise PPC team members to ensure department objectives are achieved.

Work closely with management on continuous improvement activities and cost reduction initiatives.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Japanese manufacturing standards.

Support ERP/MRP system implementation and operational improvement activities.

MUST TO HAVE:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in Production Planning & Production Control within manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge in production planning, material control, inventory management, and delivery coordination.
4. Proficiency in QAD or related ERP system
5. Handling High-mix low-volume items
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
