Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) based on customer forecasts, orders, and inventory targets.
Plan, monitor, and dynamically adjust production schedules for molding machines to ensure on-time customer deliveries and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Maintenance departments to align daily planning with machine capacity and maintenance schedules.
Oversee raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods to guarantee material availability while minimizing inventory holding costs.
Enforce robust inventory control processes, including regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations, to prevent shortages or excess.
Manage planning and inventory activities using SAP (PP, MM, WM), ensuring accurate system data for BOMs, routings, and material masters.
Analyze SAP-generated reports and operational data to drive strategic decision-making and identify areas for process improvement.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of planners and inventory controllers.
Ensure all planning and inventory operations strictly adhere to internal SOPs, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
Track key PPIC metrics (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, forecast accuracy) and present structured weekly and monthly updates to top management.
Requirements
Must be a Malaysian citizen or hold permanent residency status.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
7 to 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or operations.
Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role, including direct experience managing a team and interacting with senior management.
Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Solid problem-solving, negotiation, and project management capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
