We are seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant to join a leading cybersecurity company in Malaysia. This role combines consultative selling, client engagement, and solution positioning to support business growth and customer success.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will work closely with prospective and existing clients to understand their business and cybersecurity requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand customer business requirements and identify suitable cybersecurity solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product or service demonstrations.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and supporting documentation for customers.
- Support business development activities and identify new sales opportunities.
- Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and implementation.
- Participate in RFP/RFQ responses and solution discussions when required.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Provide sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and progress reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Sales, Solution Consulting, Account Management, Business Development, or a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into business solutions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Cybersecurity, Networking, Cloud, Software, SaaS, or IT Solutions is an advantage.
- Willing to travel within Klang Valley when required.
