Overview
We are looking for a Presales Engineer with a strong foundation in CDN, networking, and cloud security to support customer technical engagements, solution design, Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), and product demonstrations.
The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of CDN and Internet infrastructure technologies. Basic knowledge or exposure to AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI Gateway solutions will be considered a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales team to provide technical consultation and solution qualification during the pre-sales engagement process, including technical evaluations, objection handling, troubleshooting, and customer follow-up.
- Design and propose solutions based on customer requirements, primarily covering CDN, Dynamic Acceleration, DNS, DDoS Protection, WAF, Bot Management, and other cloud/network security solutions.
- Develop technical solution documents and proposals, conduct Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), and provide technical responses for RFQs/RFPs and tenders.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations, explaining how CDN and security solutions can be integrated into customers architectures and operations.
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams to communicate customer requirements and provide feedback for product development and technology roadmaps.
- Support and develop technical understanding of emerging products and technologies, including AI Gateway and AI-related infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken).
- Open to those with 3-10 years working experience in customer-facing pre-sales or post-sales position.
- Good understanding of technical concepts such as CDN, DNS, HTTP, DDoS, TCP/IP etc.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Must be able to travel local & international.
Preferred / Plus Points
- Basic understanding of AI, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Familiarity with major domestic and international AI/LLM providers and models.
- Basic understanding of AI/LLM commercial models, such as API services and token-based pricing.
- Familiarity with AI Gateway concepts, including API integration, model routing, and multi-model management.
