Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection molding, dispensing, and converting die-cut machines.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, and automation systems.
Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, robotics, and automation-related issues.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
Support machine upgrades, equipment improvements, and process optimization projects.
Drive TPM and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
Maintain maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and equipment records.
Monitor machine performance and implement actions to reduce downtime.
Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support manufacturing operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Prepare maintenance reports and performance analyses.
Prioritize maintenance activities to meet production requirements.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of injection molding, dispensing, and converting die-cut equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Experience with servo drives, PLCs, HMIs, industrial automation, and robotics.
Familiarity with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
Knowledge of RCA, 5 Why Analysis, and Fishbone Diagram techniques.
Understanding of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Good communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CMMS/Maintenance Management Systems.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning systems.
Experience in equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, automation, and robotics is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
