Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Principal Electrical Engineer located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, overseeing power distribution, and ensuring the efficiency of electrical infrastructure. The role involves managing project execution, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting technical reviews, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years experience or etc if have all the below
• Must have Data Centre experience
• Able to do hands-on Electrical designs (MD / TCL calculations, voltage drops, cable sizing, lighting protection, earthing, soil resistivity test, familiar with Data Center redundancies etc)
• Able to lead team of Electrical Senior Engineers and Engineers
• Able to do tender documents, bill of quantities, cost estimations
• Familiar with 33kV / 132kV / 275kV infrastructure (at least knowledge)
• Preferably (not mandatory) with DC certifications (Uptime Accredited Tier Designer ATD; CDCP; etc)
• PE or PEPC will be advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong project management and coordination abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Preferably immediate joiner or 1 month maximum notice
