Job Description

Responsibilities

Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for flow assurance in subsea and offshore developments.
Lead and provide technical direction on flow assurance studies, analyses, and design inputs for subsea production systems.
Address flow assurance challenges including hydrates, wax, asphaltenes, scale, corrosion, slugging, erosion, and transient operations.
Support concept selection, FEED, detailed design, and operational phases with flow assurance inputs.
Provide operational support and troubleshooting for existing subsea and offshore assets to ensure production reliability and integrity.
Develop and review operating philosophies, start-up and shutdown procedures, and flow assurance management strategies.
Interface with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
Review contractor deliverables, reports, and calculations to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability development within the team.
Support proposal development, technical presentations, and client engagements as part of consultancy services.

Requirement

Possess at least a recognized Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) for local candidates.
Minimum 13 years of relevant flow assurance experience in the oil and gas industry.
At least 5 years of relevant subsea experience, preferably in deepwater developments.
Strong technical expertise in subsea production systems and flow assurance challenges.
Experience supporting FPSO, subsea tie-back, or deepwater field developments is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
