Role
• Drive industry demand through EIP by unlocking funding, enabling participation, linking adopters, and sustaining utilisation of the platform.
• Convert qualified opportunities into funded participation, pilots, and adoption pathways, ensuring progression beyond EIP into real deployment.
• Identify and activate relevant funding sources, programmes, and schemes that enable SMEs, startups, innovators, and enterprises to access and utilise EIP.
• Connect EIP-originated pilots and MVPs to ready-takers and scale pathways, including enterprise adopters and capital providers.
• Act as the bridge across Ecosystem, Solution Orchestration, and Innovation Experience & Operations to ensure opportunities move forward without delay.
• Engage government agencies, enterprises, and ecosystem stakeholders to unlock funding access, participation pathways, and adoption opportunities aligned to EIP.
• Ensure sustained utilisation of EIP by enabling continuous inflow of funded participants, pilots, and deployment opportunities.
The Day-To-Day Activities
Industry Demand & Opportunity Progression
- Drive industry demand by proactively engaging enterprises, SMEs, startups, and ecosystem stakeholders to generate participation and use cases through EIP.
- Convert demand into qualified opportunities with clear pathways towards funding, participation, and deployment.
- Ensure opportunities move from engagement to funded and executable outcomes, avoiding stagnation at ideation stage
Funding Access & Activation
- Identify and activate relevant funding sources, programmes, and schemes (e.g. digitalisation, AI, 5G-A) for SMEs, startups, and enterprises.
- Enable companies to access and utilise funding to participate in EIP, test solutions, and deploy use cases.
- Drive funded participation into EIP, reducing dependency on direct budget and enabling broader access.
Adoption & Scale Linkages
- Connect EIP-originated pilots and MVPs to enterprise adopters (ready-takers) for real-world deployment.
- Facilitate linkages to scale pathways, including industry players, enterprise sponsors, and capital providers.
- Support progression of solutions from pilot to deployment and scale, ensuring continuity beyond EIP.
Execution Ownership & Utilisation
- Own end-to-end progression of opportunities from demand to funding, pilot initiation, and deployment readiness.
- Maintain clear visibility of demand pipeline, funding pathways, and progression status across all opportunities.
- Drive sustained utilisation of EIP by ensuring continuous inflow of funded participants, pilots, and deployment opportunities.
About You
- Minimum Degree holder.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in industry development, enterprise engagement, business development, or related roles.
- Strong experience engaging with enterprises, SMEs, startups, and government agencies.
- Proven track record in driving industry demand and participation, leading to real deployment or adoption outcomes.
- Experience in enabling access to funding sources, programmes, or schemes for companies or initiatives.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams to move opportunities from engagement to execution.
- Exposure to domains such as 5G, AI, digital platforms, or enterprise solutions is an advantage.
- Strong ability to drive industry demand and convert into actionable opportunities.
- Ability to identify and activate funding pathways, programmes, and participation mechanisms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage and move stakeholders towards execution outcomes.
- Ability to connect opportunities to adoption and scale pathways, ensuring progression beyond pilot stage.
- Strong execution focus, with ability to drive outcomes with ownership.
- Outcome-driven, with strong ownership to drive tangible results and real deployment outcomes.
