Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer to join our growing team, specializing in Advanced Semiconductor Test Equipment and Load Board design. At Aemulus, you won't just design boards—you'll help bring cutting-edge test platforms to life. We are a close-knit, collaborative team that values curiosity, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing. If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and want to make a real impact, this is the place for you.

What You'll Do

As a PCB Design Engineer, you will play a key role across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery:

  • Design high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs) for advanced semiconductor test equipment and customer load boards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, SI/PI, manufacturing) to translate requirements into robust PCB designs
  • Interpret design specifications and ensure compliance with IPC standards, DFM, DFA, and DFT requirements
  • Perform circuit analysis, design verification, and simulation to ensure optimal performance
  • Create, maintain, and validate PCB library components
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve PCB-related issues and drive continuous process improvements
  • Liaise with PCB fabricators on engineering questions, technical requirements, stack-ups, quotations, and quality matters
  • Ensure timely delivery of designs in line with project schedules and milestones

For Senior roles:

  • Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and interns, elevating overall team capability
  • Lead knowledge sharing sessions and establish design best practices
  • Act as a technical reference point for PCB-related decisions within the organization

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of PCB design experience (Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply as Junior PCB designer)
  • Solid understanding of PCB design principles, including high-speed considerations is an advantage
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., PADs) and simulation tools is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFT, and IPC standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and eagerness to learn
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of leading initiatives independently

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a collaborative and supportive engineering team
  • Work on cutting-edge semiconductor test technologies
  • Opportunity to learn, grow, and make real engineering impact
  • Open culture that encourages innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement
  • A workplace where we work smart, support each other, and celebrate successes together

Make an Impact

At Aemulus, you are more than just part of a process—you have the opportunity to shape designs, influence outcomes, and make a difference.
