PRISM Support Consultant
Are you computer savvy and looking to progress your career in IT If so, we have an opportunity for a PRISM Support Consultant to join us! As a PRISM Support Consultant, you will be working on Ovarro's ScopeX, which is our control and management system that is connected to all our sensors and telemetry devices across our regional sites throughout the Wessex Water region.
What you'll do
- You will operate Ovarro's ScopeX/PRISM applications in accordance with best practice, standards and internal conventions and processes.
- This includes being responsible for mimic amendments, creation and maintenance. Your responsibility is to develop the support capabilities in this area.
- you will also work with other Support Consultants to ensure the services that the IoT Competency Centre provides are high-quality and timely.
- We have extremely business-focused and committed team members, and it is expected that you will partake in, nurture and maintain this culture through a positive and constructive approach to the team, department and business as a whole.
What you'll need
- We are looking for a customer-focused individual who has a good understanding of complex concepts and can keep up in a fast-paced environment working unsupervised.
- To be successful, you will have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, while also being an effective communicator.
In addition, we are looking for:
- 1-2 years of experience
- Have Industry experience Scopex/PRISM or other SCADA Systems
- a high attention to detail and the ability to focus
- problem-solving skills and a logical evidence-based approach
- the ability to learn and apply knowledge to make decisions
- the ability to derive information from documentation
- the ability to challenge requirements
- an intermediate-level Microsoft Excel proficiency
- an awareness that changes made may have a significant impact on complex systems
- an awareness of the possible undesirable side effects of changes
- experience in IT roles
- educated to a degree level in relevant fields or experience in application support or operational technology in an enterprise environment
- an understanding of networking, telemetry and SCADA systems
- experience with relational databases
- experience with Linux and/or Windows OS and Shell
- Knowledge of OT and electronics concepts.
