Overview:
As Private Banking Desk Head, you will provide team leadership while driving bottom-line PV growth through the strategic acquisition of High Net-Worth clients and grow the PV AUM, loan interest and fee income of the Team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop HLB Private teams wealth business strategic plan, lead and ensure effective execution of business initiatives.
- Actively source and prospect ultra high net-worth clients.
- Develop, maintain and manage relationships with clients with CAs by providing professional services in the areas of financial and wealth management.
- Onboard new clients that are in line with the HLB Private Bank Wealth Management target.
- Ensure active Know-Your-Customer (KYC) activities.
- Responsible for achieving Teams targets and contributing towards the Private Banking business, in line with the banks Wealth Management Strategy.
- Ensure that Teams activities carried out are in full compliance with the Bank and regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop the HLB Private Bank team by inspiring a strong performance culture, implementing rigorous sales management disciplines, and ensure positive results and rapid growth of the account/portfolio. Provide necessary guidance and support to team members (Client Advisors) on SOP compliance.
Uphold rigorous compliance and governance standards, ensuring all regulatory guidelines (AML, SC, FNSL) and internal bank policies are tightly enforced and maintaining audit readiness for the Private Banking business. Promote a robust culture of teamwork across the bank, actively enhancing working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:
- Minimum Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance or a related field from any recognized university.
- More than 15 years of wealth management working experience in financial / banking industry.
- Proven track record of accomplishment in the management of the Ultra/High Net Worth clients.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- High proficiency in office productivity tools, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Posses Valid Licenses such as IPPC, FIMM, PCE, CEILLI, TBE etc.
- CFA, CFP, CB (AICB) etc qualification will be an advantage.
