Functional

  • Manage a diversified portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients by delivering holistic wealth management solutions.
  • Provide personalized investment advisory, asset allocation, and lending solutions, including Lombard loans and cash-out loans against financial assets.
  • Deliver legacy planning and wealth distribution strategies in collaboration with private trust personnel, offshore insurance brokers, tax advisors, and legal professionals.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and risk assessments to align with clients financial goals and risk tolerance profiles.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC/AML practices, FATCA and regulatory standards (BNM & SC regulations).

Managerial

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including BCB, PFS to deepen client relationships through a total relationship approach.
  • Mentor junior advisors and support their professional development.

Organizational

  • Contribute to the growth strategy of the Private Banking division by driving client acquisition and retention.
  • Maintain exceptional compliance standards and uphold the bank's reputation for delivering high-quality financial solutions.

Education/Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Admin, or equivalent
  • Posses Valid Licenses such as IPPC, FIMM, PCE, CEILLI, TBE etc
  • CFA, CFP, CB (AICB) etc qualification will be an advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Private Banking, Priority Banking or Wealth Advisory
  • Proven high achievements record and ability to acquire, retain, and deepen relationship with HNW/UHNW individuals
  • Strong track record in advising clients on multi-asset portfolios including equities, bonds, mutual funds, alternatives and structured products
  • Deep understanding of risk profiling, KYC, asset allocation, and portfolio rebalancing.
  • Understanding of cross-border wealth planning

Special Skills

  • Familiar with local and offshore investment platforms and advisory frameworks (Guided vs Discretionary)
  • Skilled in trust-building, personal engagement, and delivering bespoke client experiences.
  • Experience managing complex family office structures, succession planning and intergenerational wealth will be added advantage
  • Knowledge of BNM regulations, FATCA, CRS and tax implications of Malaysian HNWIs offshore investing
