Our client is an established fund accounting and administration service provider to private equity funds and venture capital. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for Fund Accountants and the role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare fund accounting for clients in the private equity/venture capital fund industry
- Prepare and review NAV, capital call and distribution calculations etc
- Prepare and review management fee calculations, performance working papers for fund entities etc
- Responsible for the quarterly and annual consolidated fund financial statements in accordingly
- Work closely with the external and internal auditors during year-end reporting
- Coordinate quarterly Investor Reporting: partners capital accounts, investor reporting requests including assistance to clients on investors queries
Key requirements
- 2-10 years of fund accounting accounting experience with exposure to private equity funds
- For junior level, open for candidates coming from audit or corporate accounting background
- Accounting degree or qualification from a recognized professional accounting body
- Good communication and client servicing skills
- Diligent, self-motivated and positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
