The Role and Impact Join our team as a Module Engineer, where you will play a critical role in enabling the mass production of cutting-edge integrated circuits. This position offers the unique opportunity to own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes that drive rapid device miniaturization while ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency. You will contribute to technology scaling, process improvements, and the global transfer of manufacturing capabilities. Your work will directly impact Intel's ability to innovate and maintain its leadership in semiconductor manufacturing, providing a dynamic environment to grow technical expertise and shape the future of manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities - Own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure the precision and quality of production lines. - Conduct tests and measurements to control critical dimensions and minimize defects in the manufacturing process. - Recommend and implement process modifications to improve operational efficiencies, quality, and cost performance. - Build high-volume manufacturing capacity to showcase technology capabilities and transfer processes to global manufacturing sites. - Execute equipment maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and yield goals. - Develop excursion prevention systems and detect discrepant material or activities in equipment and processes. - Manage equipment installation, conversion, and qualification during factory ramps to ensure on-schedule and safe operations that meet quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to drive process development and optimization aligned with high-volume production nodes. - Facilitate the transfer of technology to other manufacturing sites through training, auditing, and ensuring process consistency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0 - 2yrs working experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience in equipment management, maintenance, and improvement processes.
  • Technical skills in mechanical design, electrical circuitry, and software tools such as JMP or SQL Pathfinder.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with peers, engineering teams, and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of semiconductor assembly equipment and processes.
  • Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE) principles and failure modes/effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • SQL pathfinder, Power BI or any relevant scripting skills will be an added advantage.
  • Flexibility to handle multi-task operations and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to manage own activities and support wider team initiatives.
  • Experience in test engineering or product development services.
