Process and Maintenance Engineer for Tape & Reel and Vision include Packaging

Job Description

Specification of work task or Main Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Interface and responsible for all Tape & Reel, Vision and Packaging related. (Preferred COHU NY32 Turret & Vitrox Tape reel include vison system)
2. Responsible for pre-acceptance and release machines incl. support in setup, fine tuning, sustaining and maintenance.
3. Perform maintenance according to maintenance plan on machine and calibration.
4. Analysis of downtime reasons of the equipment, mechanical, electrical and electronic repairing of the equipment. Release of tester equipment according Eng. spec.
5. Active support and execution of tester system and test program related troubleshooting, analysis, repair and documentation of downtime root cause incl. localization of failures on test system also in combination with complete testing unit, carries and products.
6. Localization of failures on measurement boards, PCBs and repair of boards.
7. Mechanical, electrical alignment of the equipment according to supplier specification
8. Autonomous adaption and extension of circuit diagrams according to engineering specification
9. First contact person regarding appointments with equipment suppliers and regarding questions of the equipment suppliers. Monitoring of due dates. Technical discussions with supplier, engineering.
10. Develop measures to reduce failures, to improve quality and output and to reduce costs together with the engineering
11. Support improvement activities: Actively cooperate in improvement projects, bring in suggestions to improve production KPIs, like CT/ Output, Yield/OEE, Budget/Cost, reduce failures (MTBF, MTTR, down times) and improve quality
12. Support and train Operators/Technician (as per Work Instruction) and execution of maintenance activities.
13. Support analysis of test data and MES to derive and implement optimizations regarding test time, yield and test dept.
14. 8D responsibility and hold lots dispose
15. Align all changes with lead plant engineering
16. Support FMEA and Control Plan
17. Ensure spare part availability
18. Execute any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications

• Masters / Bachelors in Engineering
• 1 - 5years of working experience in engineering roles
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a team for transferring technical known how
• Able to perform analysis, repairs on PCB, equipment
• Mechanical, electrical and electronical skills
• Problem solving skills
• Poka-yoke concept
• Able to perform technical discussion together with equipment supplier and engineering
• Able to instruct operators
• Organize project and people to get things done
• Able to understand the correlations quality, cost and delivery
• Readiness to reduce Co2 according to company target
• Ability to identify potential for cost savings and quality improvements
