Job Description

Position: Process Engineer

Working Hour: Mon- Fri, 8 - 5:30pm

Compensation: RM10/ Day (Meal), RM300/ Month (Fixed Transport), RM 40/ Month (Fixed Phone)

Department: Manufacturing Process

Report to: Process Manager

Current team size: Pioneer team

Location: Lot 8 & 9, Kawasan Industri Padang Meha, 09400 Padang Serai, Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia

Interview Rounds: 1 round with Process Manager

Job Summary

This role Improve product yield, reduce production costs, enhance production efficiency, and optimize manufacturing processes. Minimize waste of manpower, materials, and energy to create value for the company, enhance personal growth, and contribute to the development of the industry.

Responsibiilities:

  1. Participate in the preparation, review, and improvement of process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs for each production step to ensure process consistency and standardization.
  2. Support pilot production introduction activities by tracking trial production progress, monitoring process performance, and assisting in finalizing production processes.
  3. Participate in process optimization and yield improvement initiatives by analyzing process capability, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting solutions to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
  4. Support equipment validation activities by participating in equipment acceptance processes, evaluating process capability, and ensuring equipment meets production requirements.
  5. Collaborate with relevant departments in supplier evaluation and material introduction activities , including assessment of changes related to raw materials and auxiliary materials for finalized products.
  6. Support the handling and evaluation of returned lithium batteries and B-grade products by assisting in proposing suitable disposal solutions and improvement actions.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering, Chemical, Electrochemical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields is preferred
  2. Open to fresh graduates, while candidates with 3+ years of experience in battery manufacturing or electrochemical-related industries will be advantageous.
  3. Possess knowledge of battery principles, battery performance, and related manufacturing processes is preferred.
  4. Strong organizational, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
