We are seeking a Process / Process Safety Engineer to support engineering and process safety activities for upcoming projects.
Role Overview
The Process / Process Safety Engineer is responsible for providing process engineering and process safety support to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant design and operation of facilities. The role focuses on hazard identification, risk assessment, and ensuring process systems meet regulatory and industry safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and participate in process safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and other risk assessments.
- Support process engineering activities, including review of PFDs, P&IDs, and safety-related documentation.
- Identify process hazards and recommend risk mitigation and control measures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Provide technical input for specialist safety studies and support project and operational teams as required.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Registered Engineer with BEM (for local candidates).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including process engineering and specialist process safety studies.
