Job Description

Position:Process Safety Management Lead

Minimum Requirement:

  • BSc in Chemical/Mechanical/Process Engineering (or related).
  • 10+ years experience in process safety/operations.
  • Demonstrated PHA/LOPA facilitation, functional safety knowledge.
  • Preferred Certifications: NEBOSH, TUV Functional Safety, CCPS Process Safety Certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate HAZOP/LOPA, Bow-tie Analysis; maintain risk registers and track actions to closure.
  • Develop/maintain Safety Requirements Specification (SRS); coordinate SIL verification and proof test plans.
  • Develop and implement Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
  • Lead and conduct internal audit on PSM System.
  • Manage risks through a structured approach such as QRA study

Standards & Regulations:

  • Process Safety: CCPS Guidelines, API RP 752/753/754 (siting, portable buildings, metrics), API 521 (pressure-relieving systems).
  • Functional Safety: IEC 61508/61511 (SIS lifecycle).
  • Hazardous Areas: IEC 60079, NFPA 70/NEC, ATEX.
  • Alarm Management: ISA 18.2 / IEC 62682.
  • Fire Protection: NFPA 30/33/68/69/72.
  • OH&S: OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119), ISO 45001.
