As a Process Specialist at Melexis, your main responsibility is to support process development, process optimisation, and performance improvement projects. You will be actively involved in executing predefined tasks and experiments, collecting data, and preparing reports.
More precisely, you will
- Provide technical support to Process Engineers during the introduction and release of new (first-of-a-kind) equipment in production (buy-off, training, preparation of working documents). You will also lead equipment release duplications.
- Support process development, optimisation, and performance improvement projects by executing validation plans, performing data analysis, and preparing validation reports. Additionally, manage backlog activities as needed.
- Contribute to risk assessment processes, including PFMEA, by providing valuable input.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues independently, addressing both known problems and new challenges.
- Create and update essential documentation such as work instructions and OCAPs (Operational Control and Process Assurance procedures).
Your profile
- Diploma in Electro-Mechanics, Electronics, or relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably in the semiconductor equipment field.
- Knowledge of machine equipment (mechanical and electronic parts), machine repair, and curative maintenance in the manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with problem-solving methods, including yield and process analysis and improvement techniques.
- Good computer literacy.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to provide flexible engineering support during early and late shifts to support new product development and equipment validation.
- Willingness to travel to other sites.
