Job Description
PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS
- Execute procurement activities for indirect goods and services in accordance with company policies and approval limits.
- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers for operational and administrative requirements.
- Prepare quotation comparisons, evaluation summaries, and procurement recommendations.
- Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor order fulfilment.
- Follow up closely with suppliers on delivery schedules and service completion.
- Coordinate with end users to ensure procurement requirements are accurately captured.
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers to support MRO operations.
- Conduct supplier evaluations based on pricing, quality, responsiveness, and delivery performance.
- Maintain supplier database and procurement records.
- Support vendor registration and onboarding activities.
COST & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
- Support tender exercises and RFQ/RFP activities for operational services and consumables.
- Assist in contract administration and service agreement monitoring.
- Monitor spending trends and support cost optimization initiatives.
INVENTORY & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on stock replenishment for indirect consumables.
- Support procurement planning for hangar setup, workshop setup, and facility requirements.
- Ensure urgent requirements are attended to promptly to minimize operational disruption.
COMPLIANCE & DOCUMENTATION
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and audit requirements.
- Maintain proper procurement documentation and filing for traceability.
- Support internal and external audits when required.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Support implementation of digital procurement tools and process improvements.
- Contribute to standardization of procurement practices across departments.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2–4 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
- Experience in aviation, MRO, engineering, manufacturing, or technical industries is preferred.
- Exposure to tender management and vendor negotiations will be an advantage.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Good understanding of procurement processes and commercial practices.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and procurement/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation control.
- Team player with good stakeholder management skills.
