  • To involve in supplier management that includes sourcing, selection, negotiation, contracting and new supplier registration process.
  • Purchase requirements fulfilment including demand planning, monitor deliveries and oversee all purchasing activities.
  • Works closely with logistics team to ensure timely deliveries of purchased goods. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on material delivery and availability planning.
  • Maintaining item and vendor data integrity in SAP System.
  • Generating reports as required for purchasing related activities.
  • Review inventory levels with Supply chain manager and propose stocking levels.
  • Proactive identification for cost savings and risk management through alternative suppliers appointment, price negotiations and to improve credit facilities with suppliers.
  • Conduct suppliers performance reviews to ensure competitive offers and quality products delivered are in accordance to GF standards.
  • Assist in ISO audit and yearly Supplier Performance Review.

Job Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or higher education in any field
  • At least 3 year working experience in related field especially in manufacturing industry environment is required for this position.
  • Able to work independently and self-motivated
  • Possess strong negotiation and communication skill.
  • Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking suppliers.
  • Possess positive working aggressive, hardworking, responsibility, good interpersonal and skills.
  • Have a great sense of urgency and able to handle multi-tasks under pressure.
  • Experience and Knowledge with SAP System and strong command of MS Excel for data analysis
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and able to multi-task.
