Job Purpose:
Facilitate tax / logistics arrangement and custom clearance so as to expedite and ensure timely delivery from placement of the purchase order to the receipt of materials; equipment and services.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate with expeditor, third party, agency, forwarder and vendor representative and manage all matters related to government agency requirements necessary for the importation & exportation.
- Prepare all documentations & submission of tax exemption applications and customer clearance so as to comply to statutory requirements.
- Prepare and review reports for Government Agencies and maintain proper records for easy reference.
- Review completeness of purchase requisitions in order to facilitate the sourcing process
- Prepare Recommended Bidder List and Request For Quotation in order to comply with procurement procedures.
- Prepare purchase order in line with agreed purchase order terms and conditions
- Support relevant departments on quotation preparation for the purpose of tenders so as to meet the procurement guidelines.
Qualifications(s) & Requirements:
- Minimum degree in supply chain or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of working experiences.
- Able to manage and vendor database, analyze and propose supplier strategy.
- Well versed with Supply Chain processes and its operations ie; vendor registration, custom clearance processes, Duty Exemption application, Duty Exemption License Manufacturing warehouse, etc.
- Able to perform Logistic & Transportation management.
- Conduct Inland transportation purchases.
- Able to conduct Risk Management Assessment.
- Understanding and adhere to Tendering Process.
