Role Description The Procurement Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya, responsible for supporting end-to-end purchasing activities for Sunway Hotels & Resorts. This role involves sourcing and evaluating suppliers, preparing and processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in line with company standards and budget requirements. The Procurement Executive will maintain accurate records, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate closely with operational departments to understand purchasing needs and resolve any supply issues. Daily tasks include reviewing quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and assisting with periodic reporting and analysis to optimize procurement efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including purchase orders and purchase management.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to review data, compare quotations, and support cost-effective decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in hotel or hospitality procurement, or a similar fast-paced environment, is advantageous.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems, and strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to ethical purchasing practices.
