Position Summary:
This role manages procurement and vendor management activities across APAC, supporting day-to-day sourcing, contracting, and vendor oversight. It ensures consistent execution of procurement processes, maintains compliance with established standards, and partners with country teams to meet operational needs. The role also supports cost management and continuous improvement of procurement practices within defined frameworks.
Job Responsibilities:
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Own execution of procurement operations across APAC, ensuring consistent application of established processes, standards, and governance
- Manage vendor sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding activities across the region
- Conduct vendor due diligence and background checks to support risk management and compliance
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and service agreements within established frameworks
- Ensure adherence to procurement governance, compliance requirements, and internal controls
- Support regional cost optimization initiatives through effective vendor management and sourcing execution
Contract Management & Governance
- Review and manage vendor contracts across the region
- Review and negotiate contracts to safeguard the organization's commercial, legal, and operational interests.
- Monitor contract renewals, expiry dates, and vendor obligations
- Maintain a centralized contract repository and tracking system
- Support legal and finance teams with contract documentation and compliance reviews
Cost Optimization & Strategic Sourcing
- Identify cost-saving and vendor consolidation opportunities
- Negotiate regional and bulk purchasing agreements
- Support regional procurement initiatives
- Benchmark vendor pricing and procurement practices across markets
Operational Support & Process Improvement
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized procurement SOPs and workflows
- Support procurement governance and internal audit activities
- Create and maintain procurement dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking
- Train and support regional teams on procurement processes and policies
- Work closely with country leaders to support operational procurement needs

- Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates vendor, contract, and compliance risks through due diligence and governance practices
Qualifications:
Required:
- Business-level English proficiency required; Chinese and/or other Asian language skills are an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or contract management experience
- Experience managing regional or multi-country procurement operations preferred, including China
- Strong negotiation and commercial management skills
- Understanding of procurement governance and compliance practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work across multicultural environments and regional teams
- Experience in APAC markets preferred
Preferred:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with procurement systems and contract tracking tools
- Knowledge of vendor risk management and due diligence processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
