about the job

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, components, and operational goods while driving cost optimisation, supplier performance, and procurement excellence. These opportunities are available across industries such as electronics manufacturing, metal fabrication, and chemical production.

key responsibilities

* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and production requirements
* Manage sourcing of direct materials, indirect materials, and operational services for manufacturing operations
* Lead supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, and contract management
* Drive cost-saving initiatives, supplier consolidation, and value engineering programs
* Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks to ensure continuity
* Collaborate closely with production, planning, engineering, quality, and finance teams
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
* Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members to achieve business objectives

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience within manufacturing environments

• Prior experience in one or more sectors such as electronics, metal/steel, or chemical manufacturing

• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation

• Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
