Procurement Manager

Job Description

1. Lead and develop procurement teams, promoting strong teamwork
2. Manage material planning, forecasting, ordering, and inventory levels
3. Improve supplier performance (local and international)
4. Resolve supply, delivery, and quality issues quickly and effectively
5. Work with logistics to ensure timely and cost-efficient material flow
6. Track and improve KPIs such as delivery, inventory, and forecast accuracy
7. Drive continuous improvement to optimize inventory and material availability
8. Support global procurement initiatives and align with company practices
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain in manufacturing
2. Fluent in Mandarin and English (Mandarin is required)
3. Strong knowledge of supply chain, planning, and inventory management
4. Experience managing suppliers, including China and global networks
5. Experience in international or multicultural environments
6. Able to work in matrix organizations across countries and time zones
7. Strong team leadership and cross-cultural collaboration skills
8. Good communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
9. Results-driven and able to drive improvements
10. Willing to travel between China and Malaysia
