Purpose of the role
You will be responsible for providing leadership to develop and implement sourcing strategies for various promotional print, promotional packaging, secondary packaging, retail displays, signage, visibility items, POS semi-permanent, POS permanent, premium, gifts-n-promos, logistics, and services to maximize the value delivered to clients while meeting the business objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sourcing strategies to implement a strategic partnership with key suppliers
- Develop sourcing plans for all categories and manage their execution
- Conduct market price check with outside suppliers to ensure competitiveness of established suppliers
- Be responsible for the identification of new suppliers in the local market
- Development of contractual terms that minimise risk and negotiate opportunities to maximise profitability
- RFP pricing for new business or existing clients, which may include pricing for regional RFPs
- Effective and efficient negotiation for the best price, delivering on saving targets, and building rate contracts
- Participate in the rate contract development process
- Contract and Commercials - Participate in the contract development process to include payment terms, warranties, PS fees, and early payment discounts
- Support and liaise with QA-QC testing teams and internal clients, including developing ways of working, workflows, and standards.
- Establish end-to-end process from client brief through to final delivery, including quality control and cross-border logistics
Skills, knowledge, experience, and exposure
- Minimum 5 years sourcing experience
- Strong negotiation skills, commercially aware, and able to manage budgets accurately
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build relationships and communicate clearly across both internal & external stakeholders
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks
