Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  1. Conduct and conclude negotiations for stock items, consumables, raw materials (Skim Coat), packing materials (Skim Coat) and services.
  2. Continually develop reliable sources of supply for the present and know future needs.
  3. Generate and manage inter-company PO, and stock transfer PO.
  4. Expedite the delivery of materials, equipment and services to meet the requirements of user departments.
  5. Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
  6. Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance to company policies and procedures.
  7. Coordinate with oversea suppliers, forwarders and transporters for import shipments.
  8. Liaise with the customs department or any other governmental agencies for e-permit applications.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field is a plus.
  2. At least 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience in the manufacturing sector.
  3. Knowledge of import/export processes, customs regulations, and shipment coordination.
  4. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Good organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or procurement systems is an advantage.
  7. Ability to work independently, coordinate with multiple departments, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
