Procurement Officer

Job Responsibilities

1. Assign to source potential vendors for mechanical product and services for approval.
2. Responsible to prepare and provide RFQ to vendors.
3. Responsible to monitor and follow up sourcing of mechanical product and services according to specifications and requirements.
4. Liaise with the selected vendors on agreed purchase package in terms of quality, price, term and service with vendors.
5. Liaise with vendor to monitor production capacity and flexibility to support daily demand.
6. Participate in cost saving initiates and identify area of cost saving opportunities.
7. To perform any other tasks deemed fit and as assigned by HOD.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum certificate either in Diploma in business Or Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 1 year experience in procurement/sourcing in manufacturing, preferably metal stamping, plastic injection molding.
3. Strong negotiation skills and meticulous.
