Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for the Group, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and vendor management.
  • Source and procure materials, contractors, and services at competitive rates while maintaining quality.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with approved budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project timelines. Monitor market trends to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.
  • Prequalify and onboard new suppliers and contractors. Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on procurement performance, vendor performance, and other KPIs as required by management. Provide updates on procurement progress, costs, and risks to stakeholders. Prepare detailed procurement reports and recommendations for process improvement.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Economics, Business Administration or related field.

Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within the property development company.

Status: Citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia

Language: Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal) due to the nature of work. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

  • Good knowledge of rules & regulations of the property industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with people at all levels both internally and externally including lawyers/bankers and authorities
  • Ability to adapt and perform in a demanding, fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Good leadership skills with independent problem solving and decision-making abilities with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow-through with a high level of accuracy
  • High level of commitment and integrity with positive and proactive attitude
  • A team player who is initiative and result oriented

  • Annual leave – 14 working days per year for new hires below manager level, 16 days for manager level and 21 days for senior management level up to his/her 5th year of service.
