Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, price, and delivery terms.
  • Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier information, and inventory levels.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategic supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure specifications, budget, and timelines are met.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new products and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations.
  • Prepare cost analyses and reports for management review.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Language(s) Required: Bahasa Malaysia and English, ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role (13+ years depending on seniority).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Million, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
