Job Summary:
Procurement Review & Insights (PRI) is an independent advisory function within Procurement. The team reviews New SKU introductions, promotional and campaign purchase orders, and major volume commitments to ensure alignment with inventory health, supply reliability, and business performance objectives.
We are seeking a PRI Manager to support the HOD in managing day-to-day procurement reviews and governance processes, while leading and developing a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the PRI HOD in running day-to-day procurement review and governance processes
- Lead and oversee first-level reviews of new SKU purchase orders; promotional and campaign purchase orders.
- Guide the team in evaluating order volumes against goods-needed limits, category aging trends, past SKU sales performance and seasonal pacing plans.
- Review and endorse recommendations on phased roll-outs, reduced order volumes and delayed launches where risk indicators are high.
- Lead advisory discussions with Purchasers to explain review outcomes, adjustments, and decisions.
- Monitor consolidated insights on early SKU performance, aging inventory trends, out-of-stock risks and supplier on-time fulfilment.
- Ensure consistent application of PRI review standards and frameworks across all categories.
- Review, guide, and quality-check analyses and outputs prepared by Executive / Senior Executives
- Prepare and validate reports and presentation materials for top management and key stakeholder meetings
Requirements:
- 46 years experience in procurement, inventory planning, supply chain analysis, or related fields.
- Experience guiding, coaching, or reviewing the work of junior team members.
- Confident engaging with Purchasers and department leads on order decisions.
- Strong ability to interpret data and apply practical, commercial judgment.
- Comfortable operating in an advisory and governance role.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin for engagement with China-based stakeholders.
