Why does this job exist and why is it critical
Job Responsibilities
Support the team in executing RFx (request for quotation/tender) processes which includes drafting RFx documents, sending out RFx invitations to vendors, consolidating vendor responses, analyzing vendor quotes, and preparing recommendation summaries For sourcing < RM250k, support in negotiation of commercial terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and procurement policies
Identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback to senior associates / managers on areas where operational efficiency can be enhanced
Job Qualifications
- Degree holder or equivalent work experience
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience in customer service environment preferred
- Able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
- Independent, proactive and self-motivated individual who works well in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Willingness to learn new things and adapt quickly
