About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and commercially minded Procurement Specialist – Indirect to join our team. In this role, you will manage the sourcing and procurement of indirect goods and services across the business and ensuring that we get best-in-class value while maintaining strong supplier relationships and full compliance with procurement policies. What You'll Be Doing
Sourcing & Category Management
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for indirect categories including but not limited to: facilities management, marketing services, IT, logistics, HR services, and professional services
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and cost optimisation goals
- Lead RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and evaluate supplier proposals to deliver optimal outcomes
- Identify and deliver cost savings, value improvements, and procurement efficiencies across assigned categories
Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and service providers
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews against agreed KPIs and SLAs
- Identify and onboard new suppliers where required, ensuring thorough due diligence and risk assessment
- Drive supplier development initiatives to continuously improve quality, service, and value
Contract Management
- Negotiate and manage contracts in line with the company's legal, compliance, and commercial requirements
- Ensure contracts are reviewed, renewed, and managed proactively to minimize risk and maximise value
- Maintain accurate contract records and ensure compliance with company's procurement governance framework
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, IT, HR, Legal, and Operations to understand business needs and deliver fit-for-purpose procurement solutions
- Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to business units throughout the sourcing process
- Support budget planning cycles by providing market intelligence and spend analysis insights
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with the company's policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations
- Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase orders, supplier agreements, and spend data
- Support internal and external audits as required
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a professional procurement certification (e.g. CIPS) is an advantage
- Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience with a focus on indirect categories, ideally within an FMCG, dairy, or multinational environment
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills with a proven track record of delivering savings and value
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused — you take ownership and drive outcomes
- Sound understanding of procurement ethics, governance, and risk management principles
