Procurement Manager / Procurement Specialist – Lead Strategic Sourcing & Drive Supplier Excellence

We are expanding our procurement team and are looking for talented individuals to join us as either a Procurement Manager or Procurement Specialist, depending on your experience and expertise. What you will be doing:
Procurement Manager
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and develop long-term supplier partnerships aligned with business goals.
- Negotiate high-value contracts to secure optimal pricing, quality assurance, and delivery timelines.
- Oversee and guide the procurement team to build a competitive and reliable vendor base.
- Implement supplier evaluation frameworks to monitor performance, compliance, and risk.
- Manage the annual procurement budget, including forecasting, CAPEX planning, and spend control.
- Provide daily leadership to ensure procurement efficiency and alignment with operational needs.
- Analyze market trends and communicate potential supply chain impacts to stakeholders.
- Prepare procurement insights, reports, and data-driven recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Procurement Specialist
- Execute sourcing strategies and support supplier management activities across the Asia Pacific region.
- Conduct vendor assessments, audits, and performance evaluations to ensure supplier reliability.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to meet project and cost-saving objectives.
- Analyze procurement spend, track key metrics, and prepare dashboards highlighting risks and trends.
- Maintain and update the vendor/subcontractor database while leveraging industry networks.
- Collaborate with project, operations, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement requirements.
- Manage procurement workflows and reporting within ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar systems.
- Coordinate with regional teams to ensure supplier engagement, timely support, and smooth procurement operations.
What you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, procurement, ideally in infrastructure-related industries.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management and supplier relationship development.
- Procurement experience in data center, cleanroom or commercial properties is an advantage
- Regional exposure across Asia Pacific is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with cost-saving achievements.
- Familiarity with subsea cable laying, marine, or vessel-related supply chains is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
