Product and Process Engineer

Job Responsibility

• Lead commissioning activities for a new assembly line including supervising and program management of activities required to achieve PPAP, cycle-time and capacity
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and equipment to increase production capacity inline with business goals
• Collaborate with Production Engineers and leaders to ensure a successful ramp and long-termproduction
• To ensure manufacturability without compromising product function or performance
• Ensure the projects meet the safety, quality, cost, schedule and capacity goals
• Provide training to operator, IPQC and IQC inspectors to perform effective inspection or operation
• Responsible for Production shop floor layout and assembly racking design
• Ensure internal drawings meet customer requirements and specifications
• Developing and maintain the CP, FMEA, Process Flow Chart, SOP, BOM and Process Card
• Responsible for customer process audit, NPI qualification audit and product audit
• Responsible for prototype builds and production layout planning to optimise the output
• Responsible for ECN, coordinating purging activities and documentation revision
• Rectify the non-conformance production process
• To involve in customer claim investigation and be a member of APQP
• Convert design drawings into tooling board drawings meet customer requirements and specifications
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by HOD from time to time.
• Perform capacity study, line balancing and implement lean manufacturing system
