Job Description

Are you passionate about design, product development, and market trends Were looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to assist our design team in creating innovative product concepts and collections that align with our brands direction.

Job Description:

  • Assist the design team and participate in the development of product concepts, designs and collections in line with the brands direction.
  • Assist in preparing seasonal style guides.
  • Conduct market research with superior & the team to identify trends, new product opportunities and gain competitive insights with market peers.
  • To assist in local and international work trips for sourcing and market surveys as needed.
  • Analyze quarterly sell-through reports to track product performance and propose improvements.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and market awareness to make sensible decisions during product development.
  • Plan and organize shopping lists and itineraries for seasonal shopping trips.
  • Compile, tabulate and analyze shortlisted products after sourcing trip.
  • Prepare Seasonal Buying List, Submission, Product Specification and Product Catalogue for all shortlisted products.
  • Monitor sample development with supplier and sourcing team, review samples with superior and prepare sample comment form.
  • Coordinate sample testing (NPI) with QC team and track progress.
  • Organize product samples, prepare PowerPoint presentation and upkeep the Product Catalogue for the bi-annual Seasonal Buying Conference in February and August.
  • Communicate research and development guidelines to teammates as needed.
  • Support additional tasks assigned by superior.
  • Assist in packaging styling with packaging design team, oversee packaging submission, including launch codes, barcodes, intelligent codes, photography, USP, product description, pricing and packaging tests closely and timely.
  • Address inquiries regarding product submissions, specifications and feedback whenever required closely and timely.
  • Maintain an organized and secure filing system for authorized personnel.

Job Requirement :

  • Diploma or Degree in Design, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • 12 years of experience in product development, merchandising, or retail.
  • Good with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Basic knowledge of design software (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
