Lead and coordinate the development of new automotive leather and interior products from concept to production accordance to customer timeline and specific requirement
Work closely with customer and window person towards internal cross-functional team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Production, Purchasing, Planning, Operations team and Sales to ensure successful product launches.
Conduct feasibility studies, material testing, and performance evaluations to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation such as product specifications, drawings, and test reports.
Continuously improve existing products and processes to enhance performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
Performing market research to understand market requirements for new product development.
Delivering product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes (FMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, SOP etc.)
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of working experience in product development, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industries.
Bachelor&aposs Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
Strong knowledge of product design processes, CAD software, and material testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative mindset.
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
