Job Responsibilities
As a Product Development Intern you will embark on a product development internship that offers a valuable chance to acquire and apply practical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced in the Fintech payment industry. You will acquire expertise in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for software products and services.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to develop user manuals, API documentation, release notes, and other technical content. You will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical writing tools, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Description
- Support the product team in gathering and organizing business and product requirements by working with product managers and engaging with relevant stakeholders across different teams.
- Assist in documenting and consolidating requirements from discussions with business teams, engineering teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and product discussions to better understand business needs, system capabilities, and ongoing product initiatives.
- Assist product managers in mapping business requirements to system features and workflows, helping identify potential gaps, dependencies, or areas requiring clarification.
- Work with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, and business development to gather information needed for product documentation, testing, and requirement validation.
- Support the team in reviewing and validating requirements by ensuring they are clearly understood, documented, and aligned across stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining internal documentation and knowledge repositories, ensuring requirement documents, reference materials, and product information are organized and easily accessible.
- Participate in feature validation and testing activities to better understand how product requirements translate into system functionality.
- Help identify inconsistencies, missing details, or improvement opportunities within requirements, documentation, or internal product processes.
- Support product managers in tracking product updates, feature changes, and release information, ensuring relevant teams are informed and documentation reflects the latest updates.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal product processes, including documentation practices and requirement management workflows.
