Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive new product development from design stage to high-volume production.
• Manage project timelines, product performance analysis, design optimization, customer sampling, and production release.
• Analyze product data using statistical tools to identify trends, outliers, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Design, Test, Foundry, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to ensure successful product launch and mass production readiness.
• Support yield improvement, test time reduction, and product performance optimization.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and coordinate activities across global teams and sites.
• Manage customer returns (RMA), failure analysis, and corrective actions.
• Define product validation requirements and support product qualification activities.
• Work closely with test engineers to develop efficient manufacturing test solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve quality, yield, and reliability targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 1–8 years of experience in Semiconductor Product Engineering.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, product lifecycle, and production processes.
• Experience in yield analysis, product characterization, failure analysis, and test engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with statistical data analysis and tools such as Excel, JMP, Spotfire, O+, Exensio, or similar.
• Knowledge of ATE platforms (V93K preferred) is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with JEDEC, AEC-Q100, semiconductor quality standards, and process control.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Must be willing to relocate to other countries based on project assignments and business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CMOS ASIC products.
• Knowledge of wafer and package-level characterization.
• Experience with probers, handlers, and production test environments.
• Proven track record in yield improvement and product release to mass production.
