Create and manage technical drawings (for custom made furniture) that specify size, materials, specs and any other special requirements from customers.
Responsible for the preparation, reviewing and redrafting of technical drawings of custom made furniture.
Communicating with interior designers and production, and incorporating customer requests into drawings.
Carrying out CAD works according to standards and guidelines of the office to maintain the drawing and design standards.
Ensuring final designs are compliant with manufacturing and material limitations.
Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
Ensuring work schedules and deadlines established are adhered to
Qualifications
Prefer mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering background
Degree from a technical college also acceptable.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
Good command of spoken and written English. Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage.
Must be committed and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and milestones.
