About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in supporting product development, sustaining engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting. You will work closely with experienced engineers to ensure product performance, manufacturability, and quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in product design reviews and manufacturability assessments.
- Support engineering change processes, including documentation and implementation.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities for product-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Quality, Production) to support product launches and improvements.
- Conduct data analysis on product performance, yield, and reliability.
- Help develop and maintain technical documentation such as specifications, test plans, and work instructions.
- Contribute to cost reduction and process optimization projects.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
