About The Function
The Group Product team builds and scales shared platforms that power GFG's brand partner growth across LATAM, SEA and ANZ.
The Global Discovery & Personalisation tech product, Datajet, provides personalised, flexible, and powerful search & recommendations services used across all continents by millions of users.
Core Responsibilities
As the Product Lead for Datajet - our global discovery and personalisation platform, you will define and drive the platform strategy and long-term roadmap,ensuring Datajet scales globally and delivers meaningful impact for our brands and customers.
You will establish shared global KPIs and measurement frameworks, connecting customer problems and product outcomes to business strategy and multi-region needs. You'll use these as levers to deliver strategic goals and ensure consistency, stability, reliability and scalability of the core search and personalisation platform across all regions.
You will partner with Data Science, Engineering, Data and Product teams on capability design and innovation, foster a culture of continuous discovery and innovation within the product teams; ensure high-quality product delivery, adhering to industry best practices and standards; builds strong cross regional culture of trust and transparency,
What Success Looks Like...
- Strategy & roadmap: Define and maintain a clear Datajet product strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to business priorities
- Prioritisation & investment: Lead prioritisation of platform initiatives and guide investment decisions based on impact, effort, and regional needs
- Standards & principles: Establish and evolve product standards and principles for global Search, Discovery, and Personalisation capabilities
- OKRs & KPI ownership: Set, own, and deliver Datajet OKRs, with shared accountability for core Search/Discovery/Personalisation KPIs and consistent measurement across regions
- Platform rollout, governance & adoption: Drive global testing, rollout, governance, and operationalisation of platform features across regions to ensure readiness, adoption, and measurable impact
- Documentation & enablement: Provide high-quality feature documentation and implementation guidance to support regional teams and consistent delivery
- Stakeholder alignment: Partner with cross-functional, cross-region teams and stakeholders to stay aligned on strategy, roadmap, dependencies, and execution
- Culture & ways of working: Build a strong Datajet and cross-regional culture, promoting outcome-focused delivery, continuous improvement, and transparent ways of working
- Market & tech scanning: Continuously monitor market and technology trends in Search, Discovery, and Personalisation to keep Datajet future-fit and competitive
What does it take to succeed
- Product Management experience, including user-facing products
- Expertise in product strategy and roadmap development for a technical product
- Capable of leading complex multi-stakeholder alignment
- Ability to operationalise and govern the product across multiple markets
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on developing other product leaders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and industry trends
- Uses experimentation, data and customer insight to guide direction
