Product Lead (Supply Chain Applications)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Permanent

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Lead to oversee the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of Supply Chain applications across ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

This role combines functional expertise, product coordination, team leadership, and stakeholder management. You will lead a small team while ensuring business requirements are translated into effective system solutions, balancing both day-to-day operational support and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery, support, and enhancement of Supply Chain applications (ERP/WMS).
  • Manage a small team of functional analysts, application support engineers, and developers.
  • Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and solution designs.
  • Coordinate application enhancements, releases, deployments, and production support activities.
  • Ensure incidents, service requests, and system issues are managed within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Work closely with business users, warehouse operations, vendors, and technical teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Prioritise product backlog items and coordinate delivery across multiple stakeholders.
  • Support configuration, testing, UAT, implementation, and post-production activities.
  • Drive continuous improvements, process optimisation, and system stability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Supply Chain applications such as ERP, WMS, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Hands-on experience in application configuration, functional analysis, testing, implementation, and production support.
  • Proven experience leading delivery activities or coordinating product/application teams.
  • Experience managing or mentoring small teams.
  • Strong understanding of both:
    • Production Support (Incident Management, Problem Management, SLA-driven environments)
    • Project Delivery (Enhancements, Releases, Deployments, System Implementations)
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, functional specifications, and solution design.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP EWM, SAP WM, Oracle WMS, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar WMS solutions.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Exposure to warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain processes.
  • Experience supporting global or regional enterprise applications.
