About the Role

As a Digital Product Consultant, you will take end-to-end ownership of digital products, applications, and platforms within a designated business channel at AIA. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and complex environment.

You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across all levels of the organization. Your responsibilities will include defining product vision, managing roadmaps, and driving the successful delivery of digital initiatives that align with business goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan out digital product roadmapsaligned with the overall business strategy, aiming to deliver high-quality, innovative products, features, and enhancements.

  • Develop comprehensive product specificationsthat reflect business requirements and UI/UX best practices, in close collaboration with IT, to effectively guide and prioritize development efforts-whether handled internally or by third-party vendors.

  • Oversee end-to-end testing, including user management, feedback collection, and delivery coordination, while also conducting thorough functionality testing to ensure product quality.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of digital products, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with channel strategy. Take ownership of project management responsibilities when necessary to keep initiatives on track.

  • Support the development of business casesrelated to your product scope, with a clear understanding of the financial implications and potential ROI of proposed initiatives.

  • Track and analyze the performanceof product tests and launches, conducting post-launch evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

  • Communicate product updates and developmentsto cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment across business users and end-users. Coordinate with Helpdesk and Planning teams to ensure effective communication and readiness for product-related inquiries.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degreein Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experiencein digital technology, including 3-5 years of hands-on experience in web, application, or technical product management-ideally within the insurance, design, user experience, or computing domains.

  • Strong grasp of digital innovation, with the ability to translate vision and ideas into practical solutions within existing constraints. Must be comfortable working hands-on in technical environments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Solid understanding of the product management lifecycle, as well as best practices in web and application development.

  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and stakeholderseffectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with various development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and a working knowledge of standard software development practices.
