Product Manager

The Role

As Product Manager for Insurance & Financial Products, you will own the end-to-end product strategy, development, and execution for Carsome Capital's insurance and hire purchase financing offerings — from building a unified multi-carrier insurance experience and digitising the HP loan application journey, to leveraging AI and contextual data signals to deliver smarter, more personalised product recommendations. You will work closely with internal engineering and

marketing/sales teams to bring customer-centric products to market at scale. This role sits at the heart of Carsome Capital's growth and requires someone who can blend deep domain expertise across insurance and financing with strong product craft, data-driven thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and own the product roadmap for motor insurance and hire purchase financing products across the CARSOME platform.

• Develop bundled insurance + HP financing propositions that improve conversion, attachment rates, and sales.

Partner & Integration Management

• Build and scale a multi-insurer distribution capability — onboarding and managing insurance provider APIs to surface competitive coverage options within a unified experience.

• Manage relationships with hire purchase financing partners, coordinating on product terms, rate structures, and API integrations to enable seamless loan origination and assessment.

Automation & AI-Powered Experiences

• Drive end-to-end automation of the insurance quotation journey: eliminating manual touchpoints, enabling real-time pricing comparisons across carriers with the goal of a fully self-serve, zero-drop-off flow.

• Lead the digitisation of the hire purchase application flow — from eligibility checks and document submission to credit decisioning UX and offer presentation — reducing time-to approval and manual processing.

Customer Journey & Conversion

• Own the full leads-to-conversion funnel across both insurance and financing products — tracking performance across awareness, quote initiation, comparison, application, approval, and post purchase stages.

• Champion a seamless, digital-first experience within the Carsome web platform — from intelligent product recommendations through to policy issuance, renewal nudges, loan disbursement, and repayment features.
