Get to know the Role:

We are looking for a mid-to-senior level Product / Product Operations Manager to own the core financial and crypto infrastructure of Hata. In this role, you will be the architect of our back-end value chain—ensuring that our wallet systems are secure, our treasury is efficient, and our payment integrations are seamless. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining Hata's reputation as a safe and reliable platform by bridging the gap between blockchain technology and traditional financial operations.

The day-to-day activities:

• Wallet & Crypto Infrastructure: Own the roadmap for our digital asset wallet infrastructure, focusing on the security and scalability of hot and cold storage solutions.
• Treasury Management: Design and optimize internal systems for treasury operations, including asset rebalancing, liquidity monitoring, and managing capital buffers across different digital assets.
• Payment Rails: Lead the integration and maintenance of fiat-to-crypto payment gateways, ensuring high success rates for deposits and withdrawals within the Malaysian and regional ecosystem.
• Back-Office Automation: Collaborate with the Operations and Finance teams to automate reconciliation processes, reducing manual intervention in Back Office cycles.
• Market Analysis: Monitor trends in DeFi, on-chain data, and competitor offerings (e.g., staking, OTC desks, and yield products) to identify growth opportunities for Hata's core product.
• Internal Tooling Roadmap: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for internal platforms, including KYC/AML workflows, fiat integrations, and CRM tools.
• Operational Excellence: Partner with the Operations and Finance teams to automate and optimize treasury management, fund flows, and daily reconciliation of assets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication between Engineering, Design, and back-office stakeholders to prioritize high-impact projects that reduce operational friction.
• Data-Driven Insights: Develop and track KPIs for internal tools, such as SLA resolution times, false-positive rates in monitoring, and capital buffer efficiency.

The Must-Have:

• 2–5 years of Product Management experience, preferably in a regulated Fintech or Cryptocurrency exchange within Fintech, Cryptocurrency, or Banking operations.
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading fundamentals (spot), and wallet custody (MPC, Multi-sig, etc.).
• Strong background in Back Office operations, Treasury, or Settlement processes.
• Ability to understand and drive both technical and financial requirements, including API integrations, blockchain ledger principles, and fiat payment rails.
• Excellent logical analysis, systematic planning, and the ability to influence stakeholders through data and storytelling.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple high-stakes tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (preferred).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with digital assets and its regulatory landscape is highly preferred.
